It's the little things! And Giveaway!

Hello friends

Happy Christmas Eve-Eve!

Bit of a random blog post today but had to share with you
a purchase I made yesterday - something very small and possibly
not thrilling to everyone but I was very pleased!
Weekday Crafting Pegs!
How wonderfully useful are these.

I found them in the Range and instantly thought what a great idea for
organising my breeding to-do lists.

I instantly began clipping!

They come in two colours, brown or white -
personally I thought the white was far nicer.

I do have a thing about pegs!
I like to cover them in washi tape to pretty them up.

And they work so well as gift bag closures.

Not everyone has a Range store near them so I picked up another
pack of the Weekday Crafting Pegs as a giveaway.

So if you like them as much as me....
just leave a comment on today's blog post and a winner will
be announced after Christmas.

Today should see the Christmas cake iced...if not, it's just staying marzipan-ed!

Take care friends.

  4. Hi Christine,
Love the washi tape idea, you must have the prettiest pegs in town. I'm sorting my lists out today to sort the final 'to do' items. I do love a list or spreadsheet so pegs would come in handy. Hope the cake goes well, just icing, no marzipan for me, I normally peel mine off and give to my son.

  8. Hi Christine
Washi tape is one of my favourite crafty items,I stick it on anything that does not move but always get great comments from friends. The pegs look a brilliant idea. You make wonderful gift bags and fastening them with a peg is so funky.
    Happy Christmas

  9. What a great idea the weekday pegs are, and thank you for sharing the photos. Rumour has it The Range is coming to Pitsea, as Morrison's have recently pulled their plans. The new building is up and ready, so it might not be very long for us to wait, it will be so much easier to get to and nearer than Lakeside!
Enjoy your day and hope the cake gets covered!

  10. Hi Christine good luck with the cake icing amongst other things I am sure you
have to do. My family do not like marzipan, l did, so needless to say I ate
all the top of the cake!!! Nowadays I leave the top plain, few nuts and
    cherries only.
The pegs are a great idea but I am sure they would not be man enough for all
    my crafting to do's.
Merry Christmas to you all have a great time. xXx

  12. Hi Christine love the pegs, could you possibly do a tutorial on washing tape please you've mentioned it a few times but I've never actually come across it. We don't have a range near us but I do enjoy going whilst visiting my sister, thanks Ann

  13. Good morning Christine. Had another try at posting using my computer but the comments box just doesn't appear. Very strange as it is fine using my phone. The Range have some lovely little bits at times. Unfortunately the store in Ipswich is an absolute nightmare to get out of so visits are few and far between and then it's a case of planning when you go. Definitely not on a weekend. I shouldn't worry if you don't get the cake iced. Just put a few decorations on the marzipan or make some marzipan holly leaves as if it was planned that way! Happy Christmas Jackie x

  14. Morning Christine, Hahaha,I had to chuckle at your comment about your cake and the icing or no icing hahaha. I managed to finish my Spellbinders Gingerbread House card yesterday for my Great Grandson's Christmas card, yippeeeeeee, and for my Great Granddaughter's first Christmas I made her a Snowman card, lots of lovely embellies, but my favourite was the gingerbread card, I delivered them this morning and he absolutely loved it.
What a brilliant idea with these pegs, I love the white ones you have and the days of the week on them too, ideal for 'list makers' like me hahaha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
PS My New Year's Resolution is going to be to make a couple of Christmas cards every week starting in the NY, I don't want to be on the last minute like this year hahaha !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

  16. Hi Christine,
Love the pegs, a good idea for you lists. My husband said not to bother with a cake this year as he's the one that eats most of it. Hope you get yours iced.

  17. These are lovely Christine. I noticed Wednesday said "ice cake". Does that mean yours is still naked? You could always just pop some glazed fruit on the top.
    Enjoy your Christmas Eve eve.
